The album released by Haze featured another of those extraordinary artwork sleeves designed by Walter Seyffer of Nine Days' Wonder fame. It was made to look exactly like a slide picture, complete with die-cut cover and an attached transparency picture center of the group Haze on both its front and back covers. What you get here is a photo reproduction of that artwork. Hazecolor-Dia was a Hauke & Dierks production, recorded during April 1971 at the Clerks Studio. All five tracks were written by Dietmar Low. Slow, cleverly-arranged heavy progressive rock numbers, psychedelically fueled with a faint blues tinge, featuring humorous lyrics: A Way To Find Paradise told about a hippy's struggle to get his hashish to smoke! Scherler really had a strange and wild voice (he usually screamed as loudly as he could), adding much to their gutsy freak rock style. Several tracks also featured flute (the flute player is not identified on the cover). Haze, in part, seem to draw inspiration from The Edgar Broughton Band, Arthur Brown, and Captain Beefheart. Their album is recommended for all freak rock fans!

Another lost band that deserves more attention as their music can be categorized under progressive rock boundary.CZAR music is I think a blend of Procol Harum, The Beatles and Pink Floyd (Syd Barrett era) or I would simply say it’s a psychedelic prog rock. In terms of structure, their music is quite straight forward like typical rock music structure. Melody-wise there are some similarities with classic band at their generation (late sixties and seventies). The composition comprises the use of keyboard / mellotrons / organs that represent the tradition of early prog music. Even though the sonic quality is not top notch, but it’s still quite OK with my ears. Even this kind of sound has its unique nuance to indicate the early prog era. Overall, CZAR music is accessible to most listeners. For those who followed the early inception of prog music in the rock music industry in the seventies, this is an excellent addition to any prog collection, I would say.

Armored Saint was formed in 1982 by brothers Gonzo Sandoval (drums) and Phil Sandoval (guitar), and guitarist David Pritchard, while still enrolled at South Pasadena High School. Next to join were singer John Bush and bassist Joey Vera. Gonzo Sandoval came up with the name after getting stoned with the other band members and seeing the film "Excalibur" at a theater in Monterey Park. Armored Saint recorded a five song demo that landed the song "Lesson Well Learned" on the compilation album Metal Massacre II. Three of these demo songs were then used for the band's self-titled EP.

Legendary progrock- masterpiece, sometimes aggressive, sometimes melancholic. Superb guitars, distorted voices and great organ works recall PINK FLOYD or GROUP 1850. This longplay CD also contains many bonus tracks, among them a former 25-minutes-version of "flash".
. First legit reissue of this 1971 Krautrock album, recorded in Köln and issued on Bacillus at the time. Includes 6 bonus rehearsal tracks from 1970 plus an unreleased 25 minute version of "Flash". A couple of tracks like the massive 13-minute opening "Dirty Yellow Mist" and "The Executioner" reveal the secrets of early 70s psych/rock as well as anything to be named, w/ monotonous, spacy riffing grinding into the third mind zone. "My Solid Ground's first and only record presented the full atmosphere of psychedelia -- sometimes aggressive, sometimes melancholy. Superb guitars, hypnotical voices and classical keyboards recall Pink Floyd or Group 1850 at it's best.",
